Adela is an undergraduate student studying Chemical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. She joined the MInEnS Lab in Fall 2024, where she is exploring the intersection of design and craft, with a focus on beadwork structures. She received a Small Undergraduate Research Grant for Spring 2025 where she designed an assitive wearable glove using beadwork.
